Salem the Spider
If I’m being honest I’m not a huge Halloween fanatic, it’s a fun little holiday but I didn’t grow up making a huge deal of it so even now I struggle with remembering to buy costumes for my kids to take them trick or treating. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy making these Halloween stuffies for you guys! Salem is the first of 4 Halloween patterns I will have available for you.
Use #thecsoflifehalloween for me to see your work!

Step 1: pull up a long loop and leave this for now.
Step 2: With your needle and 1 length of black yarn that you cut earlier, place one leg A between the 2 body panels, sew the leg on by stitching through all 3 pieces (2 body panels, and 1 leg), tie a knot and hide the tails between the body panels.
Step 3: Pick your loop back up from step 1 and sc across the leg working in the front panel only
Step 4: Work 1 sc through both body panels after the leg.
Repeat step 1-4 until you’ve attached 4 legs to the side of the body.
sc around the face of your spider, working through both body panels until approximately the same place your last leg ended on the other side, stop
